Dr Rakesh Malhotra holds the degrees of M.Sc. (Dairying); Ph.D. (Public Administration); D. Lit. (Public Administration). He has experience of more than 43 years in the development sector through – policy advocacy, strategic planning, project management, governance, vocational skills, financial inclusion, community institutions, capacity building and research. To his credit there are about thirty-two research reports. He has presented papers at a number of national and international seminars / workshops. He has published six books. He is a life member of six professional bodies. He has served in eminent national and international organizations like – NABARD, BIRD, UNDP, NABCONS, Raajevika, RLSDC, AFC India, Ministry of Rural Development, GoI, Govt. of Rajasthan, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, etc. Has worked on many prestigious projects of – World Bank, IFAD, Ministry of Cooperation, GoI., etc. He is the Chairman of Innovations in Development and Empowerment Alternatives.
